What other mums are saying:
I was referred to Dr Ashish when my 3rd transfer failed and I was at a place where I wanted to give my body time to recover and work on myself for a few months before doing my 4th transfer. I am type 2 diabetic, and our reason for doing IVF was male factor but also I had to battle and get my Hba1c levels down to 6.0 % (mmol/mol). We were quite lucky in that we managed to get 13 eggs from one egg retrieval, 10 of these fertilised and 9 made it to day 5 blastocyst stage. However after 3 embryo transfers and being unsuccessful we decided to get the remaining 6 embryos PGTA tested. 2/6 came back as euploid. This made me want to make sure that my body and mind was in the best condition possible before doing the 4th transfer. As you can imagine we had already spent a lot as we went to a private fertility clinic for IVF.
My first session with Dr Ashish was great, she helped me let out and overcome quite a lot of emotions that had built up inside of me throughout my IVF journey. I didn’t realise I was even holding in so much. We had been through a lot already, 1st transfer was successful but ended at 6 weeks with a blighted ovum, 2nd and 3rd transfers both failed to implant. Myself and my husband were at a point where we felt like it was never going to happen and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t working. There was a lot of pent up frustration and disappointment. I found myself at an all time low mentally/stress was at an all time high. I wanted to work on reducing my stress levels and finding better ways of handling stressful situations that are not within my control.
Then she helped me formulate a 12 week plan which consisted of adjusting my diet, taking fertility antioxidants, gut health capsules, fertility massages (these were amazing, I felt so relaxed after each one), breathing/Yoga exercises and visualisations. I felt myself having more energy, my digestive system was regulated, my sugar levels were much better and I even lost some weight. We also found that my uterus lining was much thicker and healthier than before. I also found my mood to be better and being able to handle my emotions better in stressful situations. Every week we would have a Zoom call where she would check in on my progress and keep me motivated. If I had any issues, she would help me make adjustments so I was able to continue on my positive transformation.
I did my 4th transfer on 21st November 2023. We transferred one of the PGTA tested embryos, and it stuck! I believe it was a combination of Dr Ashish’s sessions/guidance, as well as making small but significant changes to my diet and lifestyle, losing a bit more weight and lowering my stress levels that helped us have a successful round. We are currently 27 weeks pregnant.
I still follow the diet and breathing/yoga exercises I was taught by Dr Ashish and so far my pregnancy has been good and healthy. I have had to keep very strict control of my sugars and I am taking insulin as a safety measure based on advice given via NHS.
Me and my husband would like to thank Dr Ashish for all the help/advice and guidance given to help us achieve our goal. We are super excited to meet our rainbow baby girl – we are due on 8th August 2024! We would highly recommend Dr Ashish. She is super patient, always has an empathetic but positive approach to keep you motivated throughout. Was worth every penny and I have permanently incorporated her advice and guidance into my daily routine to maintain a healthy mind and body throughout my pregnancy and life in general.
