Ashishveda Therapies

All therapies are generally recommended as a set of 4-6 therapy sessions for the best results. You will be advised accordingly after your initial consultation.

Abhyanga– full body massage with warm Ayurvedic oil- 1 hr

Svedana-full body steam or localised herbal steam- 1 hr

Kati Basti– mould filled with warm Ayurvedic oil is placed on lower back- 1 hr

Grihva Basti– mould filled with warm Ayurvedic oil is placed on cervical spine- 1 hr

Janu Basti– mould filled with warm Ayurvedic oil is placed on both knees- 1 hr

Shirodhara– warm or cold liquid is poured over forehead- 1 hr

Nasya- warm or cold liquid is poured in nostrils- 30min

Niruh Basti (Colonic Cleansing Therapy)- per rectum insertion of Ayurvedic herbal decoction

Anuvasana Basti (Colonic Cleansing Therapy)- per rectum insertion of Ayurvedic oil

Uttar Basti- specialised intra-vaginal insertion of Ayurvedic medicine
