You’ve Made The Decision. Now Let’s Give It Every Possible Chance

A specialist Pre-IVF Natural Preparation consultation — optimising egg quality, sperm health, and your body’s foundations before your cycle begins. Harley Street, London — and online worldwide.

It takes courage to decide to try again.

Whether this is your first IVF cycle or your last, there is something remarkable about the decision to go forward.

You’ve gathered yourself. You’ve weighed everything — the hope, the cost, the physical and emotional demands, the uncertainty. And you’ve decided: one more time. With everything you have.

The women who come to me before an IVF cycle are some of the most determined I work with. Not reckless optimism — cautious, informed, hard-won optimism. The kind that has been tested and has held.

What they want is simple: to know that they’ve done everything possible to give this cycle the best chance. Not to leave anything on the table. Not to wonder afterwards whether there was something more they could have done.

That is exactly what Pre-IVF Natural Preparation is designed for.

Not to replace your IVF clinic’s protocol. To build the foundations your clinic’s protocol works best with — so that when stimulation begins, your body is as ready as it can possibly be.

This consultation is for you if —

  • You’re preparing for your first IVF cycle and want to give it the strongest possible natural foundation
  • You’ve had a previous cycle that didn’t work as hoped and want to prepare more thoroughly before trying again
  • You’ve been recommended IVF and want to spend the next 90 days optimising your egg quality, uterine health, and overall fertility picture before your cycle begins
  • You want both partners properly prepared — not just the female partner
  • You feel your previous preparation was incomplete — nobody asked about your lifestyle, your stress, your gut health, your partner’s sperm DNA integrity
  • You’re over 40 and want to do everything naturally possible to support your egg quality and uterine receptivity before stimulation
  • You want to feel that when your cycle begins, your body is in the best possible condition — physically, hormonally, and constitutionally
  • You’ve been referred to me specifically for pre-IVF preparation by a practitioner or clinic

What Your IVF Clinic Prepares — And What It Doesn’t

Your IVF clinic will prepare you medically — suppression, stimulation, monitoring, retrieval, transfer. This is sophisticated, evidence-based medicine and it is essential.

What it almost never includes is the preparation of the foundations that medical stimulation works best with.

Egg quality — the 90-day window

The eggs retrieved in your IVF cycle were developing for approximately 90 days before retrieval. What happened to your body during those 90 days — your nutrition, your gut health, your sleep, your stress load, your oxidative stress levels — directly influenced the quality of those eggs. Most women aren’t told this. And most IVF preparation doesn’t address it.

90 days of targeted natural preparation before stimulation begins is the window that makes the most difference to egg quality at retrieval — and therefore to embryo quality, blastocyst development, and transfer outcomes.

Sperm health — consistently underprepared

Standard semen analysis before IVF checks count, motility, and morphology. What it rarely checks is sperm DNA fragmentation — the integrity of the genetic material that determines whether fertilisation succeeds, whether embryos develop normally, and whether transfers result in pregnancy.
In my clinical practice, I recommend that both partners prepare before an IVF cycle — not just the female partner. A new sperm sample prepared over 90 days of targeted Ayurvedic and nutritional support can be meaningfully different to one produced without preparation.

Uterine receptivity — the environment the embryo arrives into

Endometrial thickness, inflammatory load, blood flow to the uterine lining — all of these affect whether a transfer succeeds. All of these are influenced by gut health, lifestyle, stress, and Ayurvedic constitutional factors that standard IVF preparation doesn’t address.

The emotional and nervous system foundation

The stress of IVF — the injections, the monitoring appointments, the waiting, the hope, the uncertainty — has a documented physiological impact on cortisol, on progesterone, on the hormonal environment of the cycle itself. Managing that stress response — not just psychologically but physiologically — is part of what Pre-IVF preparation addresses.

What Your Pre-IVF Natural Preparation Consultation Covers

This consultation is the beginning of a 90-day preparation programme — timed specifically to the follicle development window that precedes your retrieval cycle.

What we review together:

🌿 Your complete fertility history — previous cycles, outcomes, what worked, what didn’t, and what the pattern is telling us clinically
🌿 Your egg quality foundations — gut health and nutrient absorption, oxidative stress load, sleep quality and melatonin production, stress response and cortisol patterns
🌿 Your Ayurvedic constitution (Prakriti) — which shapes how all of the above affects you individually and determines the right herbal and lifestyle protocol for your specific picture
🌿 Your uterine environment — endometrial health, inflammatory load, blood flow, and the natural approaches that support receptivity
🌿 Your partner’s sperm health — including specific recommendations for sperm DNA fragmentation testing if not already done, and a targeted natural protocol for sperm quality preparation
🌿 Your hormonal picture — AMH trend, thyroid function at optimal rather than ‘normal’ level, progesterone in the luteal phase
🌿 Your emotional and nervous system state — and the specific Ayurvedic tools for managing the physiological stress response during stimulation and the two-week wait
🌿 Timing — aligning your natural preparation protocol with your clinic’s stimulation schedule so both work together rather than separately

What you leave with:

✓ A personalised 90-day Pre-IVF preparation protocol for both partners
✓ Targeted Rasayana herbal support for egg quality, uterine receptivity, and stress response
✓ A specific natural protocol for your partner’s sperm preparation — including DNA fragmentation recommendations
✓ Dietary and lifestyle guidance tailored to your Ayurvedic constitution and timed to your cycle
✓ Specific breathwork and stress regulation tools for use during stimulation and the two-week wait
✓ Supplement recommendations based on absorption and constitution — not a generic protocol
✓ Confidence that when your cycle begins, your body is as prepared as it can possibly be
✓ Ongoing support through the preparation period — so if adjustments are needed, you’re not navigating them alone

A Healthy Pregnancy After 46 — Her Medical Team Couldn’t Believe It. Ayurveda Wasn’t Surprised.

She came to me at 42 from France — newly married to the man she loved, wanting nothing more than to carry their baby. To feel what it was to be pregnant. To experience that joy with him.

They tried with her own eggs. After a couple of retrievals it became clear the egg numbers were not in their favour. She was calm and clear. ‘I don’t mind whose eggs,’ she said. ‘I want to be pregnant. I want to feel this baby.’

She took the Diamond Protocol throughout — herbs, constitutional support, the foundations properly addressed. She carried her baby in complete health.

She gave birth just weeks before her 47th birthday.

Her medical team could not believe how healthy mother and baby were. How uncomplicated the labour. How well her body had performed.

She came wanting to feel the joy of being pregnant. Ayurveda made sure her body was equal to every moment of it.

Her medical team was surprised. Ayurveda was not.

What Ayurvedic Medicine Brings To IVF Preparation That Nothing Else Does

Rasayana — the Ayurvedic science of cellular rejuvenation — is specifically designed for the kind of preparation an IVF cycle demands.

Not stimulation. Not intervention. Restoration and optimisation — building the quality and vitality of tissues at a cellular level before the medical process begins.

For egg quality and female reproductive tissue:

Herbs that nourish Shukra dhatu (reproductive tissue), provide antioxidant cellular protection, regulate cortisol, support mitochondrial function, and modulate the immune environment.

For sperm quality and male reproductive health:

Herbs with published evidence for sperm count, motility, DNA integrity, mitochondrial support, and testosterone. Both partners prepared simultaneously.

For uterine receptivity and hormonal balance:

Uterine tonic support, endometrial health, hormonal balance, and adrenal support — all constitutionally prescribed.

Every herbal protocol is built specifically for each individual’s constitutional picture. What is right for a Pitta-dominant woman is different to what is right for a Vata-dominant woman. Constitution determines the protocol. This is the depth that standard supplement recommendations cannot match.

Pre-IVF Preparation Is Not Just For The Female Partner

The quality of the embryo depends on both the egg and the sperm. Sperm DNA fragmentation — one of the most clinically significant factors in IVF outcomes — is almost never addressed in pre-IVF preparation for the male partner.

A 90-day targeted natural protocol for the male partner — addressing sperm DNA fragmentation, oxidative stress protection, nutritional status, and lifestyle factors — can produce a meaningfully different sperm sample to the one that would have been provided without preparation.

I recommend that both partners begin preparation at the same time, ideally 90 days before the planned retrieval date.

In my Pre-IVF preparation consultation, both partners are assessed — and both receive a personalised protocol. Because the outcome they’re hoping for belongs to both of them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How far in advance of my IVF cycle should I book?

Ideally 90 days before your planned retrieval date — this is the follicle development window where natural preparation makes the most difference to egg quality. If your cycle is sooner than 90 days away, it’s still worth booking — even 6-8 weeks of targeted preparation is significantly better than none.

My IVF clinic hasn't mentioned natural preparation. Should I tell them I'm doing this?

Yes — I always recommend being open with your clinic about any natural preparation you’re undertaking. In my experience, most fertility clinics are supportive of complementary preparation alongside their medical protocol.

My partner's semen analysis was normal. Does he still need to prepare?

Yes — normal semen analysis doesn’t mean optimal sperm DNA integrity, and it doesn’t mean sperm quality can’t be meaningfully improved through 90 days of targeted natural support.

I'm already taking fertility supplements. Does that affect what you'd recommend?

Not negatively — but it does affect the consultation. I assess what you’re currently taking, whether your gut health means you’re absorbing it effectively, and whether it’s right for your specific Ayurvedic constitution.

Is this available if I'm having IVF abroad?

Yes — the online consultation is available worldwide and is particularly well-suited to women preparing for IVF at clinics in Spain, Czech Republic, Greece, or elsewhere.

What if my IVF cycle doesn't succeed — even with preparation?

Natural preparation optimises the foundations — it does not guarantee outcomes. What it does is ensure that when the cycle takes place, your body has been given the best possible natural support.
